Are you having trouble getting up in the morning to pray? I think I may have found just the solution for you:
Try turning off your IPod (or IPhone) at night!
I did it the night before last, and I found that it worked! Let me explain how it happened!
When I would go to bed at night, I basically slept with my IPod. And what would happen the next morning? I would wake up in the morning with my brain being EXTREMELY sluggish. This would mean me NOT being in the mood (or in any condition) to pray!
After researching online, I found that our sleep habits are affected when we sleep with our technology! So I decided to put my Ipod in the other room, instead of next to me in bed. Guess what? It worked! My head was clearer, and I was more alert, which made it MUCH easier for me to pray!
Last night, my Ipod was next to me in bed. But the great thing is that when we fall off the wagon, we can always start over again! Tonight, once more, I will attach my IPod to my living room computer. I pray that this would turn into a nightly habit!
